– The Jamestown Blue Jay girls hockey team played the defending state champs to a one-goal game Tuesday night in their season opener, but came out on the wrong end of a 4-3 contest at Fargo North.
Freshman Torri Kamlitz had two goals for Jamestown, and junior Amber Schaack scored one goal.
Jamestown held a 3-2 lead with about 9 minutes to play, but Fargo North quickly scored twice to regain the lead en route to the victory.
