N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for February 13th through the 20th.
The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a small amount of calls this past week, seeing only a total three total runs. According to Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the department has responded to 37 calls total for the year so far. That’s compared to the 268 total calls in 2014. February 14th, 11:00AM, ready squad responded to 605 18th St NW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown Time out 25 minutes.
February 16th, 7:25AM, ready squad responded to 1305 15th St SW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 27ppm was detected. Cause-possible furnace malfunction. Time out 40 minutes.
February 20th, 12:35AM, ready squad responded to 645 1st St West, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 50ppm was detected. Cause-possible furnace malfunction. Time out 35 minutes.
