CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City School District’s budget now sits at .7 million dollars compared to a balance of .2 million last summer. Superintendent Dean Koppelman says the interim fund now sits at a comfortable 24 percent.
Meanwhile the district gained two students over the last month. Total enrollment now sits at 1,103 students compared 1,101 in August. Enrollment numbers are important being a large portion of school funding is based on a per pupil formula.
