N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The annual Sports and Recreation show kicks off today in Jamestown, highlighting numerous recreation vendors and safety classes as well as seminars throughout the event.
This year’s highlight will be Tom Neustrom, a hall of fame guide and retired police officer known for his pro fishing. He is one the greatest jig fishermen in history and one of only four people inducted into both the Minnesota and National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame. Currently featured on the cover of February’s issue of MidWest Outdoors, Neustrom provides fascinating insights into a great fisherman and educator.
He will be hosting three free seminars during the Sport & Rec Show in Jamestown. Topics include “Walleyes by the Numbers”, “Shadow Boxing Walleyes”, and “Crappies for Dessert”. Each seminar is sponsored by the Jamestown Rural Fire Department and Jamestown Tourism.
