CITY, N.D. (Farmers Union Insurance) Valley City High School, freshman Jonathon Langer has been named the Wrestler of the Week.

On Friday January 30th Langer had a big win against Lucas Shirley of Jamestown that propelled the Hi-Liners to a 51-27 dual meet victory. A feat made all the more impressive by the fact he moved up a weight class to 152lbs in the exciting 7-5 victory. 

Jonathon has been the ultimate team wrestler competing against wrestlers much bigger than himself all season long.

The young grappler is one of the hardest working wrestlers on the team and is a member of the VCHS “Honor Roll”
