N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – FARRMS in Medina are now accepting applications to learn hands-on farming and ranching skills withing their Intern Program.

The program will provide beginning farmers and ranchers’ real world training in sustainable agriculture through an innovative cooperative education program. With hands-on training, classroom learning and farm-based experience, farmers and ranchers will have a chance to learn as experienced farmers share their skills and knowledge.

Interested individuals are asked to apply by May 15th. The season ends anytime until the end of November. Room and board, tuition and a $200 a week stipend will be provided based on individual host farms. Farms can host up to three interns. For more information, email info@farrms.org or call 701-486-3569.
