(NewsDakota.com) – The the number one team in the state in girls hockey had no trouble with The Blue Jays on Friday night as Bismarck picked up a 9-0 victory at Wilson Arena.
The Blizzard struck for five goals in the first, two in the second, and two more in the third, out shooting Jamestown 64-8.
Seven different Bismarck players found the back of the net, including two goals each for standout Freshman Brittany Curl and Junior Lara Wentz.
Jamestown Goalie Ally Dion finished with 55 saves, as the Jays slip to 1-13.
The Blizzard remain undefeated versus North Dakota opponents and improve their record to 12-2.
Jamestown gets a week off, and won’t play again until Friday, January 29th against Minot at Wilson Arena.
