N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Spiritwood Energy Park Association Board met for the first time this year to discuss project progression and JSDC business on Monday, January 19th.

Sr. Project Manager Rich Garman updated the board on several items at Spiritwood, including the close out of the SEPA Rail Loop.

They also hope to have permanent signage to indicated the location in the Spring that will require some minor construction.

Other items discussed included Wetland Mitigation Plans and BNSF Switches. Discussion on funding the switches later came for JSDC Chief Operating Officer Connie Ova with the first resolution of the year. Stutsman County Auditor Casey Bradley announced that the county commission could loan money to the JSDC to help fund the project.

Connie will attend the County Commission Board meeting to discuss the loan for the BNSF Switches.
