CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley Development Corporation made a request to transfer 0,000 dollars from the city and county economic development fund to help finance the construction of the new Wellness Center during the Valley City Finance meeting on Tuesday, January 6.

Director of Economic Development Jennifer Feist says Wellness Center will provide an economic benefit to the community once it’s constructed.

She says a request to transfer $500,000 will be voted on by the Valley City commission and a request of $250,000 will go before the Barnes County Commissioners on January 20.
