CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The state school funding formula needs to be fixed and the Common Core standards will be hotly debated during this year’s legislative session which officially started January 6.

Senator Larry Robinson of Valley City says a number of other topics will be also be addressed during the 80 day session.

Robinson says testimony from school board members, administrators and teachers will be instrumental in getting their concerns address about the Common Core Standards and the school funding formula issue during the 2015 Legislative session.
