N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Cavalier County Sheriff’s office and the North Dakota Stockman’s association are investigating a cattle theft. At least 13 calves were stolen from a Langdon area farm last weekend.
Fred Frederikson is an investigator with the Stockman’s group working on the case and said it’s a pretty pricey loss when calves are a thousand dollars or more.
The sheriff’s department says 2 to 3 people were involved. They used a trailer and may have been driving a red pickup.
Anyone who may seen a vehicle matching that description the night of December 27 or the morning of December 28 is asked to contact the sheriff’s office in Langdon or the North Dakota Stockman’s association in Bismarck.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
