CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A number of pets are looking for permanent homes and maybe you or someone you know can help out. Here is a list of some pets up for adoption with the Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals.

Artie and Baby are our mother/son duo.  They have been with us for quite a while now and would love to find a home!  Baby’s foster family is considering keeping her, but Artie would make a great addition to any pack.  He should go to a home with other pets, as he can be a little anxious when he’s left alone.  Artie – at 6 years old – is over all of his puppy-stage issues, and is looking for a place to retire.  But, also, at only 6 years old, he’s got lots of life left to live!

We just can’t seem to figure out why no one is interested in our beautiful Penny!  Now that her kittens have all been adopted (you remember the Three Shades of Gray, right?), Penny is looking for her forever home.  She’s super friendly, great with everyone she meets, and loves to be loved.  She’s not too happy about her feline foster brother, but she’s not letting that keep her from schmoozing her foster parents.

Our sweet, charming, adorable little Adrian is finally starting to feel better.  She came to us as a stray, and we estimated her to be about 9 weeks old.  She had a broken tail, was a little dirty, and had an upset stomach. After a few visits with the vet, lots of patience from her foster mom, and some sensitive stomach food, antibiotics, and probiotics, she’s feeling great!  She’s about 13 weeks old, and her foster brother, Rocky, and her nap on the couch between bouts of playing.  She may have to stay on the sensitive stomach food for a while, but the meds are hopefully fixing her up so she can be adopted soon!

Prince is our newest guy.  He came to us from the City Pound.  He’s learning all his manners at his wonderful foster home. He’s a pit mix, about a year old.  He’s learning housetraining, and has already mastered sharing the couch.  If you haven’t had the time to yet, check out his picture – and his adorable ears!
