N.D. (AP) – The National Weather Service reports many
northern parts of North Dakota have several inches of snow, with 6
inches falling yesterday in Minot. Law enforcement agencies in
parts of North Dakota reported more than 100 incidents of vehicles
sliding into ditches or other vehicles.      
   
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A committee determining National Heritage
Area grants in central North Dakota has been asked to start over
because of conflicts of interest. The National Park Service says
some committee members are affiliated with organizations that
received grant money.
     
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – A fraternity at the University of North
Dakota has been put on emergency suspension after a drug raid
earlier this month. A school spokesman says the suspension was
imposed on Phi Delta Theta while campus officials determine if
sanctions are warranted.
     
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – A public celebration to mark the 100th
anniversary of the Grand Forks City Hall is scheduled for this
afternoon. Mayor Mike Brown plans to blow out birthday candles.
Historic displays will provide a glimpse of the city as it was a
century ago.
