(NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown’s bid to repeat as state champions ended as quickly as it begun. Fargo Davies picked up a straight set win to move onto the semifinals where they will play EDC-rival Shanley.

Davies won the match 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-17) behind a balanced attack. Jamestown was coming off a tough 5-set loss to Century in the WDA final but couldn’t recapture that energy.
