CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) Rolla High School stand out Alli Vandal has signed her letter of intent to play with the Valley City State University women’s basketball team for the 2015-2016 season.
The 6-foot forward is a three time All District 8 player. In her Junior season she averaged 20 points and pulled down 10 boards a game, helping the Bulldogs grab a second place finish in the league with an 18-5 record.
“Alli is a great addition to our Viking family,” DeVries said. “She has a tremendous work ethic and we look forward to working with her as we believe she hasn’t even touched on her potential yet.”
While Vandal’s senior season begins in December, Valley City State has already gotten underway with theirs. The Vikings opened the year with a 58-44 win against Brandon University. This Friday they travel to Concordia, Nebraska for a weekend set with Doane University and #9 Concordia University.
