N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Southeast District Court in Jamestown has found 42 year-old Eureka Mims not guilty of aggravated assault.

Mims was accused of stabbing 34 year-old Marlin Decoteau Jr. twice on January 30th outside of the Wonder Bar in downtown Jamestown. The three day jury trial began Monday.

If he had been found guilty, Mims would have faced a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
