(NewsDakota.com) Voters throughout Dickey County will be deciding next month whether or not to allow their local governments to grant property tax exemptions for new or expanding businesses.

Those voting within Oakes, Ellendale, Fullerton, Forbes and Monango will receive an additional slip with their November ballot asking the question, while those who are considered rural residents of Dickey County will be answering pertaining to the county.

Section 40-57.1-03 of the North Dakota Century Code was amended by Section 1 of House Bill No. 1045, chapter 315 in the last state legislative session.
