(NewsDakota.com)  Local contestants gathered at Stadium 76 in Carrington on Sunday to compete at the Punt, Pass and Kick event.  27 boys and girls competed against each other in five different age groups for a chance to go to the sectional.  The following boys and girls will advance to the sectional:

Ages 6-7 – boys = Ethan Roller,    girls = Molly Hansen

Ages 8-9 – boys = Payton Hochhalter,   girls = Sadie Jo Lura

Ages 10-11 – boys = Jonathan Lura,   girls = Allison Jarrett

Ages 12-13 – boys = Marcus Hochhalter,   girls = Sadie Magnuson

Ages 14-15 – boys = Dustin Waldorf,   girls = no entries

The sectional will be held in Carrington on Sunday, October 12th.  Kids from all over North Dakota will compete against each other for a chance to go to the national competition in Minneapolis at the end of November or early December.  The top four scores from each age division will advance to Minneapolis.
