CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Girl Scouts of Troop 30830 in Valley City would like city officials to monitor traffic speeds by those motorists who pass by the Valley City Park and Recreation Center along 4th Street Southwest.
The girls told the commission that they are concerned for their safety and others as people cross the street to get in and out of the Recreation Center.
The girls asked the commission if the city could look into the cost of placing a crosswalk or a speed bump or other device to help slow traffic down in front of the entrance of the Recreation Center during the city commission meeting on September 16.
