N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A former Valley City State University student and football player will spend over 30 years in prison for killing one man and wounding another outside a nightclub in Minneapolis.
According to Valley News Live, a Hennepin County jury convicted Cedric Chappell Jr. on Thursday on several charges in connection with a September 2013 gunfight outside a Minneapolis bar.
Prosecutors say Chappell fired a gun after an argument broke out between two gangs.
