CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Mayor Bob Werkhoven says the city needs to focus on correcting storm drainage problems in certain areas of the city that are prone to flash flooding following a torrential rain fall event.
On Saturday, August 23 the city of bridges received about 1.5 inches of rain in a short period of time. Following that event Mayor Werkhoven drove around town and took a few pictures of water standing in a low lying area along Viking Drive.
