N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The State Fair is underway in Minot. State Fair manager Renae Korslien says visitors will notice a few new rides and more of them to enjoy this year.

She says the 4-H and commercial craft exhibits are on display inside the State Fair Center.

She says the N.D. Game & Fish Department Outdoor Skills Park provides free fishing and more.

Korslien says next to the Outdoor Skills Park there are some hardy fur traders.

And there are several free stage shows for visitors to enjoy.
