N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a grain truck on fire on Exit 258 of I-94 on Wednesday at about 1:45 PM.

Fire Crew members stated that the fire came from the truck cab’s right front axle. Damage occurred to the trailers right front area with estimated fire damages totaling around $20,000.

Cause of the fire has been attributed to an undetermined mechanical malfunction. Four units and 26 firefighters were on scene for about 45 minutes. No injuries were reported.
