N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High School is all “Greased” up as they prepare for their production of the classic musical based in the 50’s “Grease”.
Cheryl McIntyre will be co-directing the musical along with Mike McIntyre. Mike is in charge of directing and the technical parts of the show including lights and sound.Cheryl is in charge of music, choreography and costuming with the students. Cheryl stated that the students were the ones that really wanted to do the show.
Erika Hermanson is going to be a Senior this year at the Jamestown High School and was one of the students that were pushing to perform “Grease” at the school. She will play Marty in the school’s production and is excited to perform in the show.
Roughly 38 students will be performing in this years production and will be backed by a full orchestra consisting of both college and high school students. “Grease” will be at the Jamestown High School at 7:00 PM June 26th and 27th. Tickets will be $5 for students and senior citizens and $7 for adults. Tickets will only be available at the door.
