National Education Association Director for North Dakota Karen Askerooth says the cuts moved us backward 9-years even though our schools are now serving nearly six million more students. Askerooth will be going to Washington to lobby Congress to end the sequester cuts and put our children first.

Askerooth addressed the issue before the Valley City School board during a regular board meeting earlier this week.
