N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation held their monthly meeting and discussed a different sort of plan with the Bank of North Dakota.
DeAnn Brunner with the JSDC stated that the Bank of North Dakota’s Affordable Housing Flex Pace program wanted to establish itself in the community. The program would provide incentive for developers to create affordable housing so they can be passed on to the tenant.
The program would require a community match from the JSDC. A decision was not made on approving the flex pace program, but the Executive Committee will have the staff put together a meeting with the board and local lenders to see if the program would be beneficial for the community.
