N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A move to the “U.S. Post Office On Wheels” began on May 23rd in the city of Napoleon.

According to The Napoleon Homestead, the Napoleon Post Office moved into a portable van and will be located to the North side of the building. Services from the portable unit will be the same as they were with the permanent facility before. People will now pick up their mail from the portable unit. No interruption of service is expected on the Napoleon Carrier route and the Kintyre route.

Mail will be sorted for the respective routes and Napoleon boxholders in the Hazelton Post Office prior to delivery. Due to air quality in the permanent building for the post office, the move to the van will remain until they find an alternate site within the city.
