FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakoa.com) More rain and thundershowers are in the forecast for eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota today and tonight.

Meteorologist Dave Kelenbenz of the Grand Forks National Weather Service office says western Barnes County received 2 inches or more Friday night while Valley City received about a-half-an-inch.

BISMARCK, N.D. Bismarck National Weather Service Meteorologist Adam Jones says heavy rain also fell east of Jamestown in western Stutsman County with 2 inches or more while the Jamestown airport reported about one inch of rain. Jones says heavy rain is in the forecast Saturday for the southern James River Valley.
