CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) Another Valley City High School athlete is moving on to play college athletics. Today Danica Diegel signed her letter of intent to join the North Dakota State College of Science on the softball field in 2015.

Diegel earned All-Eastern Dakota Conference honors this year for her work at first base and on the mound for the Hi-Liners. She helped Valley City to a 20-11 overall record and a second place finish in the EDC regular season.

Diegel adds much needed depth to a Wildcats team that was winless a year ago.
