CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Missouri River Energy Services will conduct a utility rate study of Valley City to measure the electrical efficiency in the city.

Administrator David Schelkoph says the study will also focus on the future electrical demand for Valley City.

Schelkoph says checking the electrical rate efficiency could save the city and its residents some money.

The city commission approved of using $8,500 in city funding for the Missouri River Energy Services study during their regular meeting earlier this month.
