N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two women are dead and one man was injured after their vehicle rolled on Traill County Road 12 miles North East of Hillsboro on May 17th at 9:21 pm.

The group was heading west bound from the North Dakota/Minnesota Line when their vehicle left the roadway into the right ditch, struck a driveway and began to roll. The vehicle struck a second approach and came to rest upright. James Yahnke, 51 years old of Nielsville, MN, was transported to Sanford Hospital by Life Flight. He was wearing his seat belt. He was charged with a DUI.

Mercedes Rowley, 23 years old of Sharon, ND and Teja Beyer, 21 years old of Red Lake Falls, MN, were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
