(NewsDakota.com) – Heading into last nights game against Bismarck Century the Jays already knew they would be the No. 6th seed in Thursday’s WDA opening round, they just didn’t know who they will play. Well not much as changed, they still aren’t sure who they will play but now know it won’t be Dickinson.

Dickinson locked up the No. 1 spot with an 8-1 win over Minot. The next four spots are still up for grabs between; Mandan, Century, Bismarck High and Minot. The 6-2 win over the Jays yesterday helped the Patriots stay alive to finish to in the No. 2 spot.

St. Mary’s and Mandan will play on Saturday and then the tiebreakers will have to be sorted out. Mandan will either tie Century for the two line or make a three-way tie with BHS and Minot if they lose.

The tournament begins Thursday in Dickinson. You can listen to the Jays on 1400/97.1 KQDJ and NewsDakota.com.
