N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Hunters a new section of land will become a Wildlife Management Area east of Litchville, North Dakota along state Highway 1.

Barnes County Wildlife Club President Perry Kapaun says the land was donated to Wildlife officials several years ago by the Olson brothers.

Kapaun says the North Dakota Game and Fish Department will lease the land and maintain it.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Friday, May 16 at 10:30am just off state Highway 1 east of Litchville. The public is welcome to attend.
