N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Parents of Lisbon students are upset after allegations surfaced that their children were exposed to marijuana on a Lisbon public school bus.
Parents of 8th and 9th graders at the Lisbon Public Schools became frustrated after their children informed them that kids were smoking pot on the bus.
The Lisbon Police Department and Ransom County Sheriff’s Department were unavailable for comment.
A memo sent out by Lisbon Superintendent Steve Johnson says the violation occurred April 24th and of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, the details of the incident and the administrative investigation of the incident will “remain protected and confidential.”
