CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Assistant Professor of Career and Technical Education, Rick Ross has been selected by the ACTE Region V Nominating Committee to serve a three year term on the Region V Policy Committee.  The purpose of the committee is to plan and implement a strategic plan for the region and to assist in the implementation of the ACTE strategic plan.  The Policy Committee is made up of six members selected from the 16 states that make up Region V.

Ross currently serves on the North Dakota ACTE Executive Board, ACTE Region V Nominating Committee and the ACTE National Nominating Committee.  He will be giving up his seat on the ACTE Region V Nominating Committee in order to sit on the Policy Committee.

The Association for Career and Technical Education is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers with a membership of 23,000 educators.
