N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A simulated tornado exercise was held in Jamestown on Wednesday, April 30th in Stutsman County as part of Severe Summer Weather Awareness week.
According to Stutsman County Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist, the test of the county’s emergency operations plan went very well. Jerry spoke about what the plan consisted of.
All sirens sounded successfully, with the exception of the siren located at the Frontier Village in Jamestown which malfunctioned. The siren will be repaired soon.
