FARGO, N.D (NewsDakota.com) Despite falling to the West Fargo Packers 8-1, the Valley City Hi-Liners girls tennis team had a strong showing against last year’s state runner up.

The Hi-Liners lone win came in number five singles where Regan Ingstad defeated Amber Wolff in two sets by scores of 6=3, and 6-1. The Hi-liners would take a set apiece in number one and two doubles but were unable to take a second game on the day.

After three Eastern Dakota Conferce games this season, Valley City holds a record of 1-2.

2.  Coit/Gilbertson lost to Smith/Pooja Chemiti 3-6, 6-0, 6-2
