CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Schools Superintendent Dean Koppelman says the school board voted to eliminate the teaching contract of Art teacher Lindsey Yanish during a special board meeting this week.

Koppelman says the board will take another look at the position in July once the district has a better handle on its financial picture.

Earlier this month the school board voted to retain the teaching contract of 4th grade teacher Tara Glandt following a special school board meeting.
