N.D (NewsDakota.com) The University of Jamestown hosted the Klostermand Spring Classic on Monday and Tuesday afternoon at the Jamestown Country Club.

On the men’s side, the host team carried themselves well shooting a team score of 618 through the two rounds. Leading the way at the tee for the Jimmies was Michael Strain who earned a third place finish with a 151. Jamestown’s Chris Rochon would capture fifth place just one stroke behind his teammate.

Valley City State had a rough couple of days finishing in eighth of nine teams. The top placer for the Vikings was Ben Sorenson who took 15th with a score of 157.

Rocky Mountain had the top team score with a 602. The Bears were led by Daniel Thompsett who tallied the tournament’s lowest score with a 144. Rocky Mountain also won the women’s division with a 630 over the two days.
