(NewsDakota.com) Voters in Dickey County will have three names to choose from in the June primary to replace their longtime Sheriff.

Chris Estes, Lance Kolhmeyer and Scott Peterson will run to succeed Jim Bohannon, who has been Sheriff since 1994 and is not seek re-election. The two men with the highest vote totals will run against each other in the general election in November.

The other races in Dickey County feature uncontested races. The three Dickey County Commissioner open seats will list Joel Hamar for District 1, Gary White for District 2 and John Hokana for District 3.

Gary Neuharth for State’s Attorney, Beverly Kuska for Auditor, Gail Veland for Treasurer and Deborah Anderson for Recorder are all running unopposed, and are the current incumbents.
