N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown’s Engineer Office has announced that due to the changing weather causing extremely muddy conditions in alleys, City Sanitation will no longer be picking up garbage in the alleyways starting today.

The city asks that garbage containers be placed on the boulevard no further than three inches from the curb on scheduled pick up days.

The city also asks that all garbage is placed out for pickup by 7 AM. Trucks will not return to the area due to a missed garbage pickup after the scheduled route has been taken care of.
