N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run reports for February 28th through March 6th.

According to the reports, this past week was relatively quiet. Fire Chief Jim Ruether reported that in 2013, there were 259 total calls. So far in 2014, there has been 56 total calls. Below is a full list of calls, dates and times.

March 3rd, 12:45PM, ready squad 1509 10th St NE, Jamestown High School, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-smoke detector. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.

March 4th, 7:21PM, ready squad responded to 2521 Circle Drive JRCC, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters requested full alarm because visible smoke was seen. Cause-heater motor. Time out 40 minutes.

March 4th, 7:22PM, fire department responded to 2521 Circle Drive JRCC, on the request of the ready squad, visible smoke was reported. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-heater motor. Fire alarm was reset. No injuries reported. Time out 45 minutes.

March 5th, 6:29AM, fire department responded to 615 10th St NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to a report of smell of smoke. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Fire alarm was reset. No injuries reported. Time out 25 minutes.
