N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Roughly 800 people braved the cold temperatures and biting wind to attend the 2014 Jamestown Rural Fire Department Fishing Derby on February 22nd.

According to the JRFD, over 175 fish were caught over the day and weighed in. Destiny Jacobson caught the biggest perch, weighing in at .56 pounds. Royal Sargent caught the largest Walleye, weighing in at 1.66 pounds. The largest Northern was caught by Ryan Fisher and weighed in at 11.92 pounds. The biggest Crappie caught was 1.15 pounds by Mike Ludwig.

The biggest raffle prize was a 2013 Chevy Silverado and was won by Tammy Dockter. A full list of raffle prize winners can be found here. Raffle winners can pick up their prizes at the KC Hall in Jamestown.
