N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The National Weather Service of Bismarck announced that a wind chill advisory is in effect for North East parts of North Dakota.
According to the advisory, wind chills are expected to drop as low as 35 below and continue through out this morning. The advisory has hit parts of Bottineau, Towner, Rugby, Garrison, Harvey, Carrington, Steele, and Jamestown.
A wind chill advisory means a combination of wind and cold air creating low wind chills. This could result in frost bite and hypothermia if precautions are not taken. The advisory is expected to be lifted at about 10 AM CST.
