CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Two people face felony drug related charges after police stopped their vehicle in the parking lot of the Super 8 Motel in Valley City shortly after 3am on February 17.
Police Chief Fred Thompson says a number of items including a baggy with marijuana, 3 baggies with a white crystalline substance, a marijuana cigarette and drug paraphernalia were found during a police search of the vehicle.
The driver, 25-year-old Semereab Haile Tesfaye of Fargo and a passenger 33-year-old Jolynn Short Hughes of Fargo have been charges with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and methamphetamine and 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
