CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A few homes and businesses in Valley City are reporting water lines freezing up due to the bitterly cold temperatures pushing the frost deeper into the ground this year.

Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph says owners are responsible for their water line from their property to the curb stop.

Schelkoph says a few more reports of water lines freezing up have come to the city’s attention over the last several days.
