N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The full snow removal program has been put into effect for the city of Jamestown.

Since 5:00 AM Wednesday morning, the city snow removal crews have been on standby. The schedule for snow removal has been released as well. Starting at 11:00 AM, residential areas will begin seeing snow removal. Starting at 11:00 PM, crews will start removing snow in the downtown area.

The City of Jamestown is asking all downtown merchants and all public and private schools to have all their sidewalks cleared by 9:00 PM tonight. They also ask that snow is not pushed directly into the street and to not create piles of snow.
