CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Barnes County State’s Attorney Lee Grossman will resign his position to join the law firm owned by City Attorney Russ Myhre.

Grossman will be leaving his position as Barnes County State’s Attorney in mid-February. He said Assistant State’s Attorney Carl Martineck will transition into the position of State’s Attorney.

Myhre made the announcement during the city commission meeting on December 2.

Grossman has been the Barnes County State’s Attorney since 2010 and has worked for the county before that at the assistant State’s Attorney.
