N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 14 people are injured after a collision that occurred near Galchutt, N.D. on November 16th.

At approximately 11:59 PM, Zachary Erbes, 18 years-old from Walcott, N.D. was traveling Southbound when he turned in front of a Northbound 15 passenger van. The center front of the van struck the front of Erbes’s vehicle which came to rest on the East shoulder.

Zachary Erbes suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to Fargo. The van was driven by Joseph Smith, 16 years-old from Colfax, N.D. He was seat-belted and uninjured. There were 12 passengers seated in the van. They were all treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol and the Richland County Sheriff’s Office were at the crash scene. The crash remains under investigation.
