N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Join Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) on Wednesday, November 20 at 12:00 p.m. for a free educational forum on COPD, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder. This forum is part of the “JRMC U” education series and will be hosted by JRMC Respiratory Therapist Nick Werre.
November is National Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD) month. COPD is the third leading cause of death in the U.S. This lung disease blocks airflow and makes breathing difficult. The most common conditions that make up COPD are emphysema and chronic bronchitis. JRMC will educate those in attendance about COPD and provide a screening tool to identify individuals’ potential risk.
A free, light lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to 701-952-4796 as space is limited.
